1) Ernst and Young Scholarship 2016/ 2017

About: To encourage and assist meritorious students of an approved undergraduate program in one of the dual programs or integrated for the BE or BE (Hons)
Field of study: Electrical Engineering discipline
Eligibility: An applicant is eligible for the scholarship, if the applicant –
(a) submits an application to the Head, by the closing date for applications; and
(b) is a domestic student within the meaning of the Fee Rules; and
(c) has completed at least 32 units and less than 48 units towards an approved undergraduate program; and
(d) does not hold a scholarship that the Head considers to be similar; and
(e) is enrolled full time in Semester 2, 2015 in an approved undergraduate program in the relevant field in the year of the application.
(f) will be enrolled full-time in an approved undergraduate program in the relevant field in the year of the following the award.

2) Australian Power Institute (API) Student Bursary 2016/ 2017

About: The Australian Power Institute (API) is working to support the education and professional development of power engineers across Australia.
API is offering Power Engineering Bursaries to engineering students with an interest in areas of engineering relevant to the electric power industry.
The majority of bursaries will be awarded to 1st year students with a proportion available to 2nd and 3rd years.
Field of study: We are seeking high quality electrical engineering and mechanical/mechatronics engineering students with an interest in power engineering.
Eligibility: The API Bursary is available to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents.

3) NICTA-UNSW Undergraduate Research Scholarship (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering) 2016/ 2017

About: These scholarships are for highly talented high school leavers wishing to pursue a career in research or R & D in either computer science studies or electrical or telecommunications engineering.
Field of study: Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
Eligibility: To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be Australian Citizens or Australian Permanent Residents; and
- Be a recent high school leavers enrolling in in one of the following undergraduate degree programs:
- A BE* or BSc in the School of Computer Science & Engineering; or
- A BE* or BE ME in the School of Electrical Engineering & Telecommunications.
*Applicants enrolling in the BE (Flexible First Year) and a concurrent degree other than the BE ME are not eligible for consideration.

More Information: Scholarship holders will be required to undertake three summer placements, two with research groups at the National ICT Australia (NICTA) and one with a research group within the University. At the end of Year 1 students will complete a 6 week placement, and then two 12 weeks placements at the end of Years 2 & 3.
