Architecture, Construction and Quantity Surveying Scholarships Australia 2016 – 2017

 

1) Bachelor of Applied Science (Project Management) Achievement Scholarship 2016/ 2017

University Name: RMIT University
About: If you achieve outstanding Year 12 results and are going to study Project Management at RMIT, this scholarship could assist you in your first year of study.
Field of study: Property, Construction and Project Management
Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident
  • achieve excellent Year 12 results in the year of application
  • be starting a full-time Bachelor of Applied Science (Project Management) degree program in the School of Property, Construction and Project Management at RMIT in semester 1
  • not already be enrolled at RMIT.

How to apply: Apply for the Bachelor of Applied Science (Project Management) at RMIT through VTAC (http://www.vtac.edu.au/) in the year of application. The scholarship will be awarded in January of the year of study after Year 12 results and program offers are released.
Closing date: apply between 3 August and 4 December annually.

2) Carey Lyon Scholarship Scholarship 2016/ 2017

University Name: RMIT University
Donor: This scholarship is made possible by a generous donation from Mr Carey Lyon. Carey is a Director of one of Australia’s leading architectural practices, Lyons and is an Alumnus of RMIT, completing his Master of Architecture in 1992.
About: If you are a commencing or continuing student studying the Bachelor of Architectural Design or Master of Architecture student within the School of Architecture and Design, this scholarship can provide you with financial assistance.
Field of study: Architecture
Eligibility: To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident or hold a Permanent Humanitarian Visa
  • be commencing or continuing full-time in the RMIT BP250 Bachelor of Architectural Design or the MC163 Master of Architecture (by coursework)
  • be able to demonstrate financial and/or educational disadvantage
  • not have completed the same or higher level of program, e.g. if you plan to study a Bachelor of Architectural Design, you should not have previously completed another Bachelor degree.

Preference will be given to students who are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanders.
